Android Developer
HUM Systems GmbH develops IoT applications and is known under the smart home brand Livy. With its multisensory smart home devices, the company offers end customers an all-in-one solution to connect households quickly and easily. Livy offers applications for remote care of relatives, fire and burglary protection, and home automation to increase home comfort.
Your tasks
- Optimisation of the existing application for mobile Android devices within the Scrum team
- Plan, develop and implement new features
- Create high quality user interfaces and interaction concepts
- Analyse and define requirements
- Quality assurance via testing
- Connect REST-API interfaces and Bluetooth communication
- Maintain a regular and neat documentation
- Release management
What we expect from you
- University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification
- Several years’ experience developing native Android applications (Java, Android, SDK, RxJava)
- Experience working with client/server architectures
- Experience working with agile development methods (Scrum)
- Team and result-oriented working morale
- Be capable of working on your own initiative and assume responsibility for your work
- Be fluent in English
